After many years working in the clinic, my objective has become to maximise results while minimising post-operative complications. What has happened to the cases of ceramic veneers after 8, 10 or 16 years? Have all the feldspathic veneers broken? Have the teeth with crowns split and become implants? Are the problems of the restored teeth mainly from the restorations or from the teeth? During my lecture i will try to answer my doubts, and probably those of many other colleagues, regarding materials and types of treatment in the anterior sector.
Learning objevtives:
1-understand the long-term outcomes of ceramic veneers and crowns over 8, 10, and 16 years
2-identify the primary sources of failure in restored teeth: restorations or tooth structure
3-explore material selection and treatment strategies to minimize post-operative complications in the anterior sector
